OUR MISSION

We exist to glorify God by making disciples who

KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE Jesus Christ.

OUR STRATEGY

We are a Jesus focused church. Finding our purpose in the person and commandments of Jesus Christ. We believe that keeping Jesus at the center of our faith and life with one another produces the type of environment that people can experience the LOVE and GRACE of God. We believe that there are 3 principles to discipleship that helps us to maintain our focus as we LEARN to:

Trust God

UPward

Relationship with Jesus.
We believe that everyone, including you, greatly benefits when Jesus is the center of their lives. Through our relationship with Him we are transformed.

Serve Him with Others

INward

Walking with one Another
Community is the primary place for which we are spiritually developed into the people Jesus wants us to be.

Live Beyond Ourselves

OUTward

Serving Others
We believe that environments for the Holy Spirit to speak clearly to the hearts of others occur when we make it a point to live beyond ourselves. We want to express the LOVE of Christ to others through our daily activities that display His heart for all.

OUR VISION

To be a multicultural, multigenerational church where believers can grow in their intimacy with God while living with one another in an environment that unchurched people feel welcomed.

OUR VALUES

Prayer (Isaiah 56:7) – We maintain prayer as the backdrop and guiding practice in all we do.

Biblical Authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17) –  The power of our message and for our ministry comes from God’s Word.

Simplicity of the Gospel Message (Acts 15:19) –  We do not make it difficult for people who are turning to God.

Loving Others (Philippians 2:3-4)We emphasize serving and communicating with those who do not yet know Jesus as well as other believers.  We give a significant amount of our time and treasures serving others for the sake of sharing the Gospel.  While making a point to not forget about the underserved in our community.

Next Generation Church (Psalm 78:4-6) – We believe the best way to impact a city is to fill its future with bright, godly, capable leaders.  As a result, NECC places major emphasis on ministering to children and youth.

Leader Developing/Sending Church (Matthew 28:18-20)NECC is a leader-rich environment.  As a result, we emphasize identifying, developing, and deploying leaders to live out God’s call for their lives in a way that brings God glory.

Faithful Stewardship (1 Corinthians 4:2; 2 Corinthians 6:3) –  We believe that everything belongs to God and he has given us some of his stuff to manage.  We plan our ministry and budget our resources with this idea: How can we wisely use the resources that God has given us in a way that honors Him?  We seek to be above reproach not only in our financial dealings, but in everything that we do.

Community (Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts 2:44-45, Acts 4:32) –  We live our lives in the context of authentic and committed relationships with other believers.
