We’d love to get to know you this weekend.
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be overwhelming and we want to make it as simple as we can for you. Let’s face it. The very first time you walk into a church, you usually have tons of questions.
Our “PLAN A VISIT” page is designed to introduce you to Northeast Community Church in a friendly non-intimidating way. Hopefully, we can answer some of your questions about our church and provide insight for your visit.
SUNDAY MORNING
10:00 am.
What to Expect
Music Styles
Our Sunday morning worship services utilize different worship styles (from creative traditional to contemporary) and Christ is always the center and focus of our adoration and praise. We want to be lifestyle worshippers who gather each week to celebrate as a family.
Casual & Relaxed
Sunday services are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
The Message
Each week you can expect to experience a relevant and engaging message from a member of our teaching team or a guest teacher.
Service Times
Our Services start at 10:00 am and typically last between 80 and 90 minutes.
Where to Go
First-time visitors, should arrive approximately 10-15 minutes early so we can help direct you and your family to the appropriate locations. Please come to the Information Center in the Foyer and one of our team members will be glad to assist you.
For the Kids
Our children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! The children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand.
Common Questions
How should I dress?
You should dress the way you feel most comfortable. We have a casual laid back environment that doesn’t place emphasis on attire. The people in our community will not judge you on how you dress. The lead pastor typically wears jeans, sneakers, and a shirt on Sundays.
What is there for the kids?
We have ministry that is uniquely designed with kids in mind. There is nursey care for chldren 0 – 5 years old. Elementary aged children exprerience learning in their own kid friendly environment 3 Sundays out of each month. (We reserve the 2nd Sunday of each month for family worship time. On these Sunday’s the entire family has the opportunity to be a part of worship in the same room.)
What are your people like?
We are a very diverse group of people. Our community consists of people from many ethnicities, generations and socio-economic backgrounds. We believe that this diversity reflects God’s heart for His Church in our community.
Are different beliefs welcome?
Yes. Everyone is welcome to be a part of our community gatherings. We are not an exclusive club by any means. People of different faiths, and those who have no faith at all have found our community to be welcoming and friendly. However, we are unapologetically Christian in our faith (see what we believe), and our teaching reflects our understanding of the Bible.
What is the music like?
Our musicians are really good! We are a diverse congregation which is reflective in our music. You can expect to hear songs not only from different genres, but from all over the world.
How can I connect?

Welcome
from our Pastor
Community is important and deep down, we all want to belong somewhere. Northeast Community Church is a place where you are always welcome. In our casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere you’ll find our friendly authentic people, great music, and biblical teaching is just what you’ve been looking for.
Church doesn’t have to be boring, stuffy, or judgmental. Our community would love to get to know you and your family, while providing an environment for those who are looking for answers and purpose in life.
We believe strongly that a church is not simply a place where God is worshiped, but a group of people who worship God wherever they are. We meet in neighborhood homes for small groups, host monthly community gatherings, and serve those who need care in our area.
We would be privileged to get an opportunity to meet you and your family, and to hear your story. Send an email to our elders to learn more about us.
Blessings,
Shawn Weekly, Lead Pastor
